Clinical Counselling that meets you with tenderness, curiosity, and care.

Tender Wellness is a counselling practice built upon the belief that healing happens in relationship. When we feel safely connected to another, old wounds can begin to shift and new possibilities emerge.

We offer holistic, relational care that welcomes every part of you—the messy, the tender, and the strong. We care deeply, we root for you, and strive to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and encouraged to grow.

Tender Wellness offers…

I offer trauma and grief counselling, alongside support for a wide range of life experiences and transitions. My approach is relational and experiential, shaped by deep listening, attunement, and care that is responsive to you.

  • Individual counselling offers a supportive space that is just for you, a place to pause, reflect, and receive care. Together, we can explore what has been feeling difficult, whether you are navigating stress, loss, or past experiences that continue to affect you. Counselling can help you gain clarity, strengthen self-understanding, and feel more connected in your day-to-day life and relationships.

I work primarily with adults and adolescents 16+ and support people who:

    • Feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about where they are in life

    • Struggle to stay connected to themselves, often feeling shut down, anxious, or on autopilot

    • Are learning to navigate boundaries, self-worth, or the impact of grief or relational loss

    • Want to feel more grounded, authentic, and at home within themselves.

    • Want to understand and heal patterns shaped by early life experiences, past traumas or complex relationships

  • I am happy to work with you in-person or online. Some folks like to do a combination of both over time, depending on their situation and the therapeutic work at hand. In person sessions are based in Kitsilano, online sessions are held via Zoom.

  • My work is rooted in the recognition that our identities, histories, and the systems we move through shape how we experience the world and ourselves. I honor the logic of survival strategies and hold space for their wisdom by centering choice, collaboration and transparency throughout the therapeutic process. I move at a pace that feels safe for your nervous system, and use trauma-informed techniques to help you process and heal from traumatic experiences.

  • While emotional or mental suffering may bring you to seek counselling, I believe overall wellness requires tending to multiple aspects/dimensions of the self over time. My methods extend beyond conventional talk therapy to provide holistic care that tends to mind, body and spirit. In session this could look like, but is not limited to, utilizing somatic approaches to tap into the wisdom of your body, considering mindfulness practices or rituals to support a deeper connection to self, or building a stronger foundation of personal values and strengths.

An act of self care; to mindfully ‘tune in’ to your inner experience and turn towards what is present with gentle curiosity.

—with tenderness

Our past, our pain, our hopes can feel vulnerable. As we tend to these parts, we move with care: slowing down, staying grounded, and supporting you in meeting yourself with gentleness and compassion.
